HOPE LIGHT AND NOWHERE introduces us to Edward, an extraordinary young man who finds himself in the ruined basement of his family home after an undisclosed disaster has laid waste to the world. In the strangeness of this post-apocalyptic landscape, Edward is visited by two other survivors: the aggressive skinhead Raffety, and the disturbingly meticulous blind man Bleach. Will Edward be able to leave? And what waits for him out there? The world premiere of the second play by Bruntwood Prize-winner Andrew Sheridan (Winterlong, Soho Theatre / Royal Exchange, 2011).

Shockingly powerful… incredible performances all round, in combination with a fantastic script… perfectly formed, in both its simplicity and aesthetic harshness.
