Performed over the ruins of Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre under the South Bank, this bold reimagining of Shakespeare’s tale of jealousy, obsession and sex was a sell-out site-specific period horror. Drawing on Grand Guignol, Kubrick and the uniquely disturbing quality of London’s most fascinating archaeological space, the production was nominated for four Off West End Awards including Best Director and Best Actor (Cary Crankson as Iago).
